Israel arrests Bush plotters
Israel has arrested a man it said had proposed attacking helicopters used during a visit by President George W. Bush.
The man was one of six Arabs indicted Friday on charges of trying to set up an al -Qaeda cell inside Israel.
Two of the men arrested were seen being taken from a Jerusalem court to a local detention center.
Israel's Shin Bet counter intelligence service said one suspect had used his mobile phone to film helicopters at a university sports stadium in Jerusalem. The same landing site was used during a January visit by President Bush.
Bush was in Israel again in May to mark the country's 60th anniversary.
Israel identified four of the suspects as Palestinian residents of Arab East Jerusalem and two as Israeli Arabs.
Shin Bet said computers seized from the suspects contained manuals for making bombs.
